● Currently on a research team with the University of Texas and the National Science Foundation to
expand opportunities in computer science education
● Led Computer Science students to research open source designs and using our 3D printer,
manufactured a toddlers first prosthetic hand
● Partnered with the community to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the purchase of advanced technology used to create a
total of 9 prosthetic devices
● 2017 Champion of Computer Science Community Impact Award presented by the Computer

● Grew the Brenham Cross Country Invitational from a small meet with less than 400 participants to
one of the largest in the state with over 3500 participants while raising $25,000 annually for the
cross country program
